Transnational Journal of Education and Scientific Development (TJESD) is a peer-reviewed and open-access interdisciplinary academic journal published quarterly by Word Astra Publishers, Southern Europe. Transnational Journal of Education and Scientific Development is committed to advancing scholarship at the intersection of education and scientific inquiry. The journal provides a global point for researchers, educators, and practitioners to engage with innovative ideas, critical perspectives, and transformative practices that shape both educational systems and scientific progress across diverse cultural and geopolitical contexts.
The Transnational Journal of Education and Scientific Development (TJESD) invites high-quality, original scholarly contributions that advance knowledge in education, curriculum studies, pedagogy, educational technology, science education, social and behavioral sciences, STEM development, innovation in teaching and learning, and related multidisciplinary fields.
TJESD publishes empirical research articles, theoretical papers, review articles, case studies, policy analyses, short communications, and book reviews.
To support an efficient and transparent editorial process, authors are required to adhere strictly to the following guidelines.
1. Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's submission portal or via the emails: submissions-AT-wordastrajournals.com or wordastrajournals-AT-gmail.com
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
Each submission must include a cover letter outlining the study's originality, contribution to knowledge, and relevance to TJESD's scope.
2. Manuscript Structure
a. Title Page
The title page should include:
Full title of the manuscript (clear, concise, and descriptive)
Full names of all authors
Institutional affiliations
ORCID iD (optional but encouraged)
Corresponding author's email and phone number
b. Abstract
A structured abstract of 150–250 words
Must summarize the purpose, methodology, major findings, and conclusion
c. Keywords
Provide 4–6 keywords suitable for indexing and search optimization
d. Main Text (Research Articles)
Research manuscripts should follow the structure below:
Introduction
Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
Methodology
Results and Discussion
Conclusion and Recommendations
References
For review papers, conceptual papers, case studies, or policy analyses, authors may adopt alternative headings that best suit their work.
3. Formatting Requirements
Language: Clear English (British or American), used consistently.
Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, fully justified.
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
Length: 4,000–5,000 words (excluding references and appendices). Longer manuscripts may be considered upon editorial approval.
4. Referencing Style
TJESD uses the APA 7th edition referencing format.
All in-text citations and reference entries must strictly follow APA guidelines.
References must be arranged alphabetically at the end of the manuscript and cited appropriately within the text.
5. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively, titled clearly, and inserted near their first mention in the text.
Each must include a brief caption and source (if adapted or reproduced).
All figures must be high-resolution and visually clear.
6. Plagiarism and Research Ethics
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. A similarity index above 15% may lead to rejection.
Studies involving human participants must provide evidence of ethical approval and informed consent where applicable.
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
7. Authorship and Acknowledgments
Only individuals who made significant academic contributions should be listed as authors.
Support roles (funding, data collection, technical or administrative assistance) should be acknowledged separately.
Any changes in authorship post-submission require written consent from all authors.
8. Peer Review Process
TJESD follows a double-blind peer review system.
Authors must ensure that no identifying information appears in the main manuscript file.
The typical review period is 4–6 weeks.
Editorial decisions may be: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
9. Copyright and Licensing
Upon acceptance, authors must sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement.
TJESD is published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.
10. Article Processing Charges (APC)
TJESD is an open-access journal. An APC of 50 USD is required to support editorial management, peer review, publication, hosting, and indexing.
Waivers or discounts may be granted by the Editorial Board, particularly for authors from low-income regions.
11. Publication Frequency
TJESD is published quarterly.
Accepted manuscripts may be published online as Articles in Press before their scheduled issue.
