The Journal of Applied Plant Biology (JAPB) ISSN 3041-8739 is an international journal dedicated to the rapid publication of original research in all areas of plant biology. Coverage addresses important biological problems of broad interest. Research in plant physiology, comparative genomics, functional genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, biochemical and regulatory networks, plant tissue and organ culture and biotechnology,plant-microbe interaction, molecular pharming, metabolic engineering, astrobiology of plants, Ethnobotany, and medicinal plants are welcome. Preference is given to the publication of results that provide significant new insights into biological problems and that advance the understanding of new aspects of plant roles in modern human life.
