Description

Global Journal of Business, Economics & Social Development (GJBESD) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal. GJBESD focuses on understanding how society functions and progresses through economic and business activities. These fields are characterized by their interdisciplinary nature, as they draw on theories, concepts, and methods from various disciplines to understand and solve complex societal problems. Business is concerned with creating, operating, and managing organizations, including corporations, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Business studies cover accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations, and strategy. Conversely, economics concerns producing, distributing, and consuming goods and services. It involves studying how individuals, organizations, and governments allocate resources and make decisions to achieve their goals. Economics is divided into microeconomics, which focuses on the behavior of individuals and firms, and macroeconomics, which looks at the economy's overall performance. Social development is concerned with improving social and economic conditions for people, particularly those marginalized or disadvantaged. This field involves studying social issues such as poverty, inequality, gender, health, education, and sustainability and how they can be addressed through policies, programs, and interventions. Studying business, economics, and social development is essential because it can help individuals, organizations, and governments make informed decisions that promote sustainable economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability. It also helps identify and address systemic issues such as inequality, poverty, and climate change, critical societal challenges today.
