Trans-Kata is a peer-reviewed and open-access international journal published by Transbahasa. Trans-Kata aims to bring together research and academic works from the fields of arts and humanities especially in the areas of language, literature, culture and education. Scopes include language education, translation studies, linguistics and applied linguistics, Multilingual and multicultural education, Literary scholarship and literary education, Cultural education and cultural studies (including culture and tourism), Arts education, Teacher Education, Education Management, and Educational studies. Trans-Kata is published two times a year (May and November).
