Southwest Asia in a geographical area of ​​about 12 million square kilometers, comprising 25 countries with a population of about 530 million, covering five major geopolitical areas of the world (Central Asia - Caucasus - Indian subcontinent - Persian Gulf and Middle East). Situated between the continents of Africa, Europe, and the territories of Russia, China and India, with many millennia-long historical and cultural backgrounds - religious as the world's richest civilizational cultural hub and with enormous natural resources, developmental advantages and capacities. Exceptionally, it is still one of the least developed regions of the world, lacking in collective development cooperation. Set.
The purpose of the publication of the Southwest Asian Specialized Journal of Studies is to take a step forward in thinking, understanding commonalities and historical situations, creating a discourse on constructive and effective regional interactions, and developing a model of collective development cooperation for the region.
The phenomenon of globalization, the rapid and profound changes in the structure of global relations and the formation of regional development poles and patterns in the world, especially over the last half century, the search for a new definition and approach to constructive and effective interactions in regional relations and partnerships.
