Educación y Humanismo is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that covers all fields of education and pedagogy. It accepts papers with transdisciplinary approaches to understanding educational phenomena in a national, regional, and global context, including cultural, gender, and diversity studies.
This publication is aimed at experts in the educational and pedagogical areas, as well as teachers and postgraduate students in the areas of education, social sciences, and humanities.
Published in digital format under the open access modality, Educación y Humanismo accepts articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese that have not been published in other journals. It is governed by the diamond route, and there is no charge for publishing.
All submitted articles that comply with the journal's standards are subjected to double-blind review by peer reviewers, who will consider the content's quality, originality, presentation and structure, and quality and timeliness of bibliographical references, as well as compliance with ethical principles.
Publication frequency: Articles are received for evaluation throughout the year. Educación y Humanismo is a long-term journal that is published biannually (January–June and July–December).
Publishing institution and financing model: Educación y Humanismo is owned and financed by the Universidad Simón Bolívar (Colombia), a non-profit institution of higher education.
This journal does not charge its authors for the processing of their manuscripts (Article Processing Charge - APC), but expects from them an active participation in the processes and a cooperative work for a greater diffusion and dissemination of their articles.
Direct Marketing Policy: Educación y Humanismo does not carry out direct marketing, like direct mail, telemarketing, or advertising to authors or calls for papers. Journal does not use any marketing strategies of promotion or communications activity sent directly to authors to obtain articles to journal issues.
Journal believes in authentic research and the quality of a double-blind peer-reviewed process.
