Description

Global Language Review (GLR) was introduced by Humanity Only (HO) through the research project sponsored and guided by Humanity Research Council (HRC) — a sub-body of Humanity Development Council (HDS). GLR intends to promote qualitative and quantitative researches and findings with the help of newly emerging tools and patterns utilized in experiments, observations, interviews, analysis and surveys by encircling all major segments of language duly recognizing its multidisciplinary nature. GLR is a broad ranging, annually, triple-blind peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary research journal which duly recognizes the ubiquitous nature of language and subsumes most of the historical and contemporary disciplines of English language, specifically in linguistics and literature and extended into allied areas of society, culture, arts, politics, economics, technology and society. Details are available at www.glrjournal.com.
Mission & Vision
As the member of Humanity Only family, GLR Journal endeavors for a future where human development result from decisions guided by unbiased information. The publications in this journal, therefore, eliminates the stagnancy and futility in the academic research which does not focus on solving problems faced by humanity in general and Pakistan in particular. GLR intends to become the global leader in introduction of innovations where theories connect with application while maintaining the best features of theoretical and applied aspects.
Objectives & Focus
GLR promotes:
Advancement of research in all sectors of English language including linguistics, literature and culture
High quality publications in theoretical and empirical researches
Networking of academicians, researchers and professionals encourage different genres in creative and research writing
Enhancement of diversity, multiplicity and variation of the research on society in general
Scope
GLR covers multidisciplinary, inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary issues and problems of language. Therefore, it welcomes articles covering linguistics and literature and encourages researchers to undertake not only the core theoretical and applied aspects but also to explore concerns which extend the study of language into other fields of human existence such as culture, arts, society, politics, economics and Education & Mass Studies in general.
Values
GLR adheres to the highest value in research. It appreciates objectivity in the articles submitted for publication. Instead of assuming the values of objectivity, neutrality, originality, diversity of opinion, contribution to knowledge, strength of argument, avoidance of fallacies, truth and honesty as cliché, GLR has incorporated these values in the process of selection and review.
