Description

The interdisciplinary journal Forest science issues was created to highlight the achievements of the science of forests, operating in the context of global changes, in the following areas:forest politics and sustainable forest management;forest legislation;assessment of resource-ecological potential, ecosystem functions and services of forests;multipurpose using of forests and forest bioeconomy;reproduction and increasing of forest productivity;forest conservation and protection;monitoring and forecasting of forests dynamics under the conditions of the combined action of natural and anthropogenic factors;forest education.The journal publishes original materials, including materials scientific conferences, as well as articles aimed at analyzing the current state and forecast of the development of forest science, the development of new methods and technologies, including remote sensing methods and GIS technologies.
