"NaUKMA Research Papers. History and theory of culture" is an academic Peer-Reviewed Open Access journal that publishes articles and research materials in the field of history and theory of culture.
The journal is on the list of scientific professional editions in Ukraine, in which results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences can be published.
Founded by the Department of Cultural Studies of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in 1997 - as part of a multi-serial publication "NaUKMA Research Papers" (series "Culture"); since 1999 - as part of the multi-serial publication "NaUKMA Research Papers" (series "Theory and History of Culture"), and since 2009 - was registred as the separate professional edition of "NaUKMA Research Papers" (series "Theory and History of Culture") with a corresponding re-registration in 2015. In March 2018, the publication received a state registration under the title "NaUKMA Research Papers. History and theory of culture".
THE PURPOSE of "NaUKMA Research Papers. History and theory of culture" is to highlight the modern research approaches and the results of original professional research, performed in accordance with international academic standards, in the field of theory and history of culture.
