Description

Commagene Journal of Biology is an open access international peer reviewed biology journal. Origin of the name comes from the Commagene Kingdom that ruled the Upper Euphrates section of Adıyaman province, Turkey about 2300 ago. “Commagene” also means the integration of genes (or tribes or clans). The mission of this kingdom was to connect the east with the west. Adıyaman province is in the place where Mediterranean and Iranian-Turanian geographical regions meet that inspired the name of the journal. It is the publication of Adıyaman Scientific Research Association (ABADER) that was founded in June 6th, 2017.
Commagene Journal of Biology accepts unpublished original research. Review articles may be accepted after they have been evaluated by the editors in limited numbers in each issue. Manuscripts can be accepted after being reviewed by two peer reviewers. The journal accepts articles from all areas of biology due to its mission to integrate all of its fields. It is published electronically twice a year (December and June). The first issue published on December 29, 2017. Commagene Journal of Biology is an open access journal and there is no charge for the printing and evaluation process.
