Description

Education in the Health Professions is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. The journal has a multi-disciplinary focus and welcomes timely high-quality submissions of broad interest to teachers, researchers, administrators and other members of the medical education community. EHP welcomes submissions relating to any aspect of education and may involve any methodological paradigm and/or theoretical orientation. EHP places a premium on articles that are concise, stimulating, practical and accessible to readers.
The journal offers numerous submission types to appeal to a diverse readership. In addition to traditional submission types (e.g., research, reviews, etc.), the journal also has sections devoted to faculty development, education research methodology, education policy, and more.
One feature of EHP that distinguishes the journal from all other education-related journals is the outstanding credentials of the editorial and peer-review team. Not only do these individuals work at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities, hospitals, medical centers and other organizations in the world, but most also hold terminal degrees (e.g., PhD, EdD) in an education-related discipline. The mix of content experts both in education and health profession disciplines help ensure only the most innovative, high impact and useful articles are published
