Focus and Scope: The Black Sea Journal of Science is a refereed, research journal and is published two times annualy by the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences of Giresun University. Articles are written in Turkish or English. The aim of Journal of Science is to publish articles in Engineering and Fundamental Sciences. All papers are evaluated by referees, who are known scholars in their fields. Final decision on any paper is made by the Editor In Chief. Accepted articles will be available online following the Journal's peer review process. Peer Review Process: The submitted papers will pass through initial screening in the editorial office followed by internal review by Reviewing Editors in the Scientific Board. Then the paper will be checked through the Advanced Plagiarism Detection Software (powered by iThenticate). After this, the paper will be assigned to Senior Editor for conducting the Blind External Peer Review by three reviewers. If accepted, final version is again checked by Technical and Senior Editor before publiaction. Final decision on any paper is made by the Editor In Chief. Accepted articles will be available online following the Journal's peer review process. The Black Sea Journal of Science does not charge any article submission or processing and reviewing charges. Publication Frequency: The Black Sea Journal of Science is published two-times a year in May and November. Open Access Policy: This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
