Description

Arctic Environmental Research is an open access, peer-reviewed jounral, publishing original research articles, reviews and notes on the nature and environment of the Arctic and adjacent areas. Preference is given to manuscripts based on field and laboratory research and experiments, as well as on mathematical modelling of processes taking place in high latitudes.
The journal will consider for publication manuscripts in the following topics:
Geosciences (geology, geodesy and cartography, geoinformatics, geoecology, engineering geology, geocryology and pedology, prospecting and exploration of hard minerals, oil and gas fields)
Biological sciences (biogeography, botany, microbiology, zoology, genetics, ecology, hydrobiology, parasitology, mycology, soil science, and biological resources).
The journal is published by the Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NArFU), Russia in a collaboration with Pensoft Publishers.
