About the Journal
Based on the second-stage license number 2602/9, dated 1394/9/14 (05.12.2015), issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and letter number 60538/18/3, dated1396/03/24 (14.06.2017), issued by the Director-General of the Office for Policy-making and Planning in Research of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Literary Theory and Criticism (license owner: University of Guilan) has successfully earned the Scientific-Research rank from the first number (Spring-Summer 2015). Derived from our former journal Adab Pazhouhi (Literary Research) (https://adab.guilan.ac.ir), Literary Theory and Criticism collaborates with the Scientific Society of Persian Language and Literature. Guilan University published it and owns the copyright of the journal.

An introduction to literary theories and the paradigmatic and discourse context of their emergence and their classification in networks of theories (Metatheory).
