Public health nursing is a nursing specialty focused on public health. Public Health Nurses (PHN's) "integrate community involvement and knowledge about the entire population with personal, clinical understandings of the health and illness experiences of individuals and families within the population.
Journal of Community & Public Health Nursing publishes empirical research reports, program evaluations, and case reports focused on populations at risk across the lifespan. The journal also prints articles related to developments in practice, education of public health nurses, theory development, methodological innovations, legal, ethical, and public policy issues in public health, and the history of public health nursing throughout the world.
Journal of Community & Public Health Nursing is an Open Access, Peer-reviewed, bi-monthly journal that includes a wide range of fields in these areas and creates a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal.
