Description
The initiation of JDVI (Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia) was conducted by leading dermatologists and venereologists from Indonesia who aspired to contribute in the field of scientific publication and research. Knowledge and science continue to evolve in the field of dermatology and venereology, especially with new diagnostic methods, therapeutic and procedural approaches, and new emerging diseases.The Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia was founded in 2015 as an official publication of Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. This journal is supported by the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (PERDOSKI) and dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital (RSCM). Since the first issue was published in August 2015, it has been published biannually consistently and continuously.
We only publish scholarly peer reviewed materials with high quality and good evidenced-based research. We accept scholarly materials such as case reports, studies, letters, and reviews about dermatology and venereology from all around the world which have scientific value to all dermatologists and venereologists. Sources of funds are available from sponsorships and grants.
Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia was first abbreviated as J Gen Pro DVI as published in volume 1. Furthermore, since volume 2, it has been changed into J Gen Proced Dermatol Venereol Indones. There are also some changes made in the journal template, instruction for authors, and page numbering.
All articles and issues in Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia have unique DOI number registered in Crossref since October 2015. Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia can be accessed through Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) since July 2017 and Google Scholar since November 2017.
