Description

The Journal of Advances in Vehicle Engineering is an international, peer-reviewed journal of analytical, computational and experimental studies of engineering problems related to all road, rail, and other land-based vehicles. The journal is open-access and is published Quarterly. Language of the Journal is American English.
The aim of this journal is to provide a unique forum for the publication and rapid dissemination of original research on advances in vehicle engineering. The main topics of the journal include but are not limited to:
? Dynamics of vehicle systems and their components including suspension, chassis, power transmission.
? Energy harvesting and scavenging from different components of the vehicle including suspension system, engine mounts, brakes, tires, and railroad.
? Terramechanics: development, design and testing of off-road vehicles and soil-working machinery.
? Dynamic interaction of the vehicles with their environment in particular tire-ground and wheel-road interactions.
? Energy and Fuel: Primary research work in fuel science and prospects of energy technologies related to automotive engineering particularly those of internal combustion engines.
In recognition of the considerable research interests and recent proliferation of papers in these subjects, in addition to the original research, the journal welcomes state-of-the-art surveys and reviews so as to provide a more effective medium for disseminating the latest developments to researchers and engineers.
