Description

Scientific journal "Ekonomichna ta Socialna Geografiya" ("Economic and Social Geography") is concerned with the problems of theoretical and empirical aspects of human geography, in particular, spatial organization of society at different levels, from local to supranational. Main areas of interest: issues of economic, social and cultural geography, behaviour and perceptual geography, locational studies, regional science, regional policy, spatial planning, demographics and labour market developments, environmental problems, modern spatial transformations. The journal also published scientific reviews, as well as the reports about outstanding scientists and educators, important historical dates and events.
Journal's mission is to facilitate the dissemination of geographic knowledge and geographic thinking, the creation of effective platform for exchange of the knowledge, research results and actual theories or ideas among geographers in Ukraine and abroad. The journal is intended for scientific workers, university lecturers, postgraduate students, employees of the planning and forecasting institutions, as well as anyone interested in the latest fundamental and applied achievements in the field of human geography.
