Description

The Revista Vertentes do Direito is an initiative of the Law Course, from the Federal University of Tocantins, with an interest in the dissemination of scientific works in the various sub-areas of Law and in the construction of interdisciplinarity.
The Journal's editorial project came about with the objective of making available, through a digital communication vehicle and free access, quality and excellence research results to the academic and professional community, opening a discussion channel on current and emerging issues, adopting a broad platform as a strategic posture. It provides for the publication of unpublished works, in the following modalities: scientific articles; essays (literature reviews); reviews of recently launched works and reports of experiences in the areas of teaching and / or extension.
To support this proposal Revista Vertentes do Direito stands out for an Editorial Board composed of renowned researchers and professors from several national and international institutions, which give it credibility and presence of exogeny. It is located on the Open Journal System (OJS) platform, which gives the publishing system greater efficiency, rationality and transparency.
It is a semiannual journal, in which scientific productions will be published in Portuguese and Spanish, languages in which the works can be presented, which will be submitted to a body of reviewers (members of the Editorial Board or ad hoc) to assess the attendance of their editorial standards.
Authors will not be remunerated for the publication of their works, and the published works may be used by users of the Journal, in whole or in part, for educational and non-commercial applications, subject to the indication of the source.
