"RUDN Journal of Studies in Literature and Journalism" has been published since 1996, Periodicity – once a quarter.
The journal is a periodic peer-reviewed scientific publication in the field of of philological research: literary studies and journalism. The journal is international composition of the editorial Board, and authors and topics of publications. The editorial board consists of scientists from Russia, the United States, France, Italy, Turkey and China.
The objectives of the journal are the implementation of scientific exchange and cooperation between Russian and foreign literary critics and journalists, as well as specialists in related fields, the publication of the results of original research on a wide range of interdisciplinary problems concerning literary studies and journalism, coverage of scientific activities of professional scientific community. The priority directions of the journal are the history of Russian and foreign literatures, theory of literature, history and theory of journalism, mass communication and media, advertising, public relations in Russia and foreign countries.
One of the aims of the journal is to acquaint readers with the latest trends and theories in the field of literature studies and journalism research, advertising and public relations developed both in Russia and abroad, and their practical application. Being international in its focus, the journal aims to discuss theoretical and practical issues related to the literary process, prose, poetry, drama, literary criticism, genres of journalism, press, radio and television, advertising, public relations.
