Journal of Coastal Life Medicine (JCLM) is a peer-reviewed open access English journal established in 2013 (quarterly), which becomes a monthly journal in 2014. The journal aims to provide the most up-to-date medical information and an international academic communication platform for the life medical researchers, marine life medical workers, infectious diseases and public health medical workers around the world, especially to those who live in coastal regions, to improve the healthcare of residents in coastal regions and to prevent and control the spread of diseases specific in coastal regions and infectious diseases. Now, JCLM has been covered or abstracted by several International databases: DOAJ, Zoological Record (ZR), Biological Abstracts (BA), BIOSIS Previews (BP), Ulrich's Periodicals Directory (UPD), Chemical Abstracts (CA), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) and Index Copernicus (IC), OAJI, etc.
