The journal publishes the results of scientific research of university professors, researchers, graduate students, doctoral students and applicants for scientific degrees in the areas of research "Earth Sciences" (25.00.00 Earth Sciences).
The founder of the journalis Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "North-Caucasus Federal University" (NCFU) which has its own publishing and printing complex.
Journal "Science. Innovation. Technologies” (here in after referred to as the Journal) was formed in 2012 as a result of the re-registration of the journal “Bulletin of the Stavropol State University” in connection with the renaming of the founder. The journal is published in accordance with the federal legislation "On the Mass Media", the Charter of the North Caucasian Federal University, as well as the Regulations on the journal.
Bulletin of the Stavropol State University was founded in 1995 (founder of the Stavropol State University). From 1995 to 2012 75 issues of the journal were published, in which 1263 articles were published.
In 2012–2022 37 issues of the journal “Science. Innovations. Technologies". They have 545 articles.
The chief editor of the journal is Belozerov V.S., Doctor of Geographic sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Geography and Tourism, Institute of Earth Sciences, NCFU (Stavropol, Russia).

Priority in the publication of articles is given to authors who are actively working on the preparation of candidate and doctoral dissertations.
Articles sent by the authors to the editors are subject to mandatory review by members of the editorial board of the journal.
All incoming manuscripts undergo a mandatory check in the Anti-Plagiarism system.
The most important tasks of the journal are: generalization of fundamental and applied scientific and practical achievements in the field of Earth sciences. The scientific concept of the publication involves the publication of modern achievements in the form of original articles on technical sciences (technologies of drilling and development of wells, development and operation of oil and gas fields), geological and mineralogical sciences (geology, prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields, physical geography and biogeography, soil geography and landscape geochemistry), physical and mathematical sciences (meteorology, climatology, agrometeorology), geographical sciences (physical geography and biogeography, soil geography and landscape geochemistry, economic, social, political and recreational geography, geoinformatics, meteorology, climatology, agrometeorology and geoecology).
The journal welcomes publications on the profile of scientific schools of the department of socio-economic geography, cartography and geoinformatics, physical geography and cadastres (landscape geography, transformation of reproduction, settlement and lifestyle of the population, including based on geoinformation monitoring).
The journal publishes reviews of scientific research, popular science articles about the territories where expeditionary research was carried out, as well as reporting articles about conferences and anniversaries of scientists.
Domestic and foreign scientists working in the field of geosciences are invited to publish in the journal.
Publication in “Science. Innovations. Technologies" is free of charge for all the authors.
