Description

The ”Judicial Studies and Research” journal (ISSN 2286-0797) is a quarterly publication. It has been edited since 2013 by the professors of the Police Department of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy of Bucharest (Romania).
Given the diversity and complexity of the judiciary field, the journal aims to undertake studies and research by addressing issues of criminal law, criminal procedure law, forensics, criminology, judicial psychology and aims to analyze case studies drawn from legal practice.
The journal analyzes institutional, procedural and legislative policies within the judicial field, crime typologies and methods of committing crimes, psychological profiles of victims and perpetrators, methods and means of judicial investigation and the system of judicial cooperation in criminal matters; all of these in an European context.
Each study is accompanied by a summary (abstract) and by keywords written in English.
The Scientific Council of the journal includes expert theorists and prestigious practitioners from the field of judiciary, both from Romania and from abroad.
