The journal “Public Security Studies” is a scientific publication edited by the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Bucharest Police Academy quarterly and its purpose is to carry out studies, analyzes and research in public security by addressing complex and current issues both nationally and internationally addressing to students, Masters, PhD students and experts of state institutions with responsibility in public security.
The pronounced scientific character of the journal resides in the following sections:
SECTION I ? THE INSTITUTION OF PUBLIC SECURITY
- includes studies, analyzes and research regarding the concept of security, the principles underlying the system of public security, the role and the necessity of public security.
SECTION II ? CHALLENGES IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC SECURITY
- includes studies, analyzes and research regarding the main current challenges in public security (risks, threats, vulnerabilities and forms of crime that affect the public security)
SECTION III ? THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SECURITY
- includes studies, analyzes and research regarding the strategic and operational management of public security, the institutional and legislative management and the legislative references compared to European and international public security.
SECTION IV ? COMMUNICATION, ETHICS AND DEONTOLOGY IN PUBLIC SECURITY SYSTEM
- includes studies, analyzes and research regarding the role and the necessity of the communication activity within the public security system, the ethical and deontological particularities applicable to the personnel of public security.
SECTION V ?COOPERATION IN PUBLIC SECURITY FIELD
- includes studies, analyzes and research regarding the cooperation within and between institutions at national level, judicial and police cooperation at European and international level in the public security field.
