Description

Scientific research quarterly journal of police medicine (ISSN: 2228-6241) and (e-ISSN: 2283-3483) is dependent to police forces institute and Naja social studies and Naja department of health, rescue and treatment with the following research centers:
1- Behdad Naja Department of applied studies center
2- Center of trauma studies in police operations
3- Center of mental health studies in police
4- Center of health studies in police forces
Two of these centers enjoy substantive agreement from ministry of health, treatment and medical education of country.
Since the present journal has been established aiming at informing in different fields of police medicine and improving the scientific level of armed forces physician and paramedics personnel and started working by obtaining license from the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance. After publishing four one-year issues and publication of various scientific articles in the fields of police medicine and also publication of medical researches achievements to honor the efforts of armed forces researchers and scholars and also those interested in police medicine discussion throughout the country, this journal gas requested for obtaining scientific-research rate from the department of researches and technology of country medical education and health treatment ministry in 91.01.21. Despite so many limitations, after the precise specialized investigations in the 107th session of country medical journals commission in 91.03.21 the hierarchies expressed and the journal of police medicine has been considered qualified to obtain scientific-research rate. The scientific-research journal of police medicine may hopefully improve the scientific level and police medicine knowledge qualitatively being supported by the searchers and scholars of Islamic republic of Iran's armed forces and country universities and research centers in national, local and international fields to offer its mission which is the representation of scientists' and scholars' achievements and capabilities of the holy system of Islamic republic of Iran more than ever to the world.
