The journal publishes articles by invitation only, to illustrate the main activities in the field of research in physics that take place in the following institutes: Department of Physics and Astronomy (UNIFI), Institute Galileo Galilei for Theoretical Physics (INFN and UNIFI), National Institute of Optics (CNR) and Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory (INAF). These include reports on scientific events such as conferences and workshops and brief descriptions of the main results obtained in the research carried out within the Institutes of the "Hill of Galileo."
