The Journal of Clinical and Scientific Research is a peer reviewed journal published by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (A University established by act of A.P. State Legislature), Tirupati 517 507, India. The Journal publishes original research communications of clinical and biomedical research.
It presents innovative and novel biomedical research that advances or illuminates medical science or educates the journal readers as well as those that improve the clinical acumen. It is issued quarterly, in four issues per year- January, April, July, October.
Review process:
For all manuscripts that are received, the undertaking by the authors and Copyright Transfer form and are checked. The manuscript is assigned a unique identification number. The Editorial Committee internally reviews the manuscript and sends those manuscripts found complete in all respects as per the check-list and fit for consideration for publication for peer review to two reviewers from a panel of reviewers. The reviewers are provided a structured pro-forma for providing their evaluation report. In case there is discordance in the opinion of the two reviewers, the Executive Editor-in-Chief asks for the opinion of a third reviewer. Acting upon the evaluation reports submitted by the reviewers, the Executive Editor-in-Chief decides whether the manuscript is suitable in the present form for publication /needs revision and resubmission/ is not suitable for publication. The decision is subjected to the same process retaining the panel of reviewers.
