The Journal of Islamic Law Research (ILRJ), a quarterly, tri-lingual, fully open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed publication, encourages discussion on all branches of the field of Law, emphasizing and interacting with classical and modern Islamic Law. It aims to promote an understanding of Islamic law, in both theory and practice, from its emergence to modern times and from juridical, historical, and social-scientific perspectives. Islamic Law Research bridges East-West researchers and readers and presents up-to-date research.
