Almanac "Universytetska Kafedra" (ISSN: 2227-1503)

Description

Almanac "Universytetska kafedra" publishes studies in the field of philosophy, it is published annually, and it is a non-commercial edition aimed both at professional philosophers and wide audience. It is dedicated to mainstream theoretical problems of cultural studies, axiology, philosophy, ethnology, and it also contains discussions, reviews and annotations.
The Almanac was established and firstly published in 2011, its founder and publisher is Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (and its subdivision - Institute of Applied and Professional Ethics).
Issues in focus: realization of creative and scientific interests of professional philosophers, development of philosophical education and science in Ukraine, implementation of scientific, theoretical and methodological issues in practice.
Materials are published in the original language(Ukrainian, Russian - and for foreign authors of CIS countries, or English). Manuscript of the article (15,000 - 25,000 characters in length) should be completed in accordance with the requirements applicable to the articles sent to professional editions: information about the author, address, UDC, titles, abstracts (summary) and keywords in Ukrainian, English and Russian. Summary in Ukrainian and Russian should be 200-300 characters, and in English ? 2,000-5,000 characters in volume.
The article should include determination of the problem and its relationship with important scientific and practical tasks, relevance of the topic, analysis of recent researches and publications, main conclusions and recommendations for further research. References to the sources should be given at the bottom of the page, for example: (Franko I. Beyond possible // Franko I. Collected Edition: In 50 vol. - Kyiv: Naukova Dumka, 1986. - Vol 45. - P.284.)
Editorial Board performs selection of materials and organizes the external reviewing of articles prepared for publication.
Rejected manuscripts are not to be returned to authors. Published materials reflect the views of the authors, which may not always coincide with the position of the Editorial Board. Responsibility for information accuracy, references to original philosophic sources, quotations, proper names etc., falls on the authors of publications.
