The Open Journal of Implant Dentistry, the official journal of the South African Society of Dental Implantology (SASDI), provides a novel and influential avenue for research and commentary on major clinical and practical challenges in implant dentistry, particularly from an African perspective. The journal aims to share insight into evidence- and practice-based research amongst the professionals within the dental community to enhance and promote a universal standard of practice and clinical care.
