Description

JSSIR is a peer refereed, bi- annual journal of the Department of Humanities, NED University of Engineering and Technology. The journal will act as a forum to encourage discussion and research about significant issues confronting societies both local and global. The scientific investigation about social phenomena in different contexts and areas of human interaction is an attempt to create awareness about the central issues confronting societies; and to suggest solutions that are based on research findings. The social sciences research is imperative in improving our immediate and larger environments; and the interdisciplinary focus will enable capturing complex issues more holistically through the knowledge in a variety of subject areas that would expand the horizons while looking for plausible explanations, implications and proposed remedy.
The journal will publish original, unpublished articles elaborating and reporting critical research-based, information and insights about selected subjects within Social Sciences and themes dealing with Inter-disciplinary perspectives within social sciences. The journal will include in each issue articles dealing with different subjects and themes offering greater diversity to its readers and authors.
