Description

The universe and the world we live in are complex systems. Man is also a complex system. Our existence, as well as the existence of any systems, is conditioned by interactions with other systems of the living and inanimate world. The openness of any complex systems and the nonlinearity of their relations with the environment determine the nature of their existence along the entire path of their evolution. Ways of being in the process of development are subject to selection within populations, species, and individual types of systems. The set of principles establishes a General picture and trends in the evolution of complex systems. Openness, non-linearity of relations and differentiation of systematics turn all types of evolution into hierarchical sequences with power trends of development. Understanding these principles will help us approach the basics of non-linear forecasting and reduce the risk of our being on Earth.
Therefore, the study of the dynamics of complex systems is inherently interdisciplinary and is the goal of the journal «Complex systems». At the first stage, it is supposed to generalize what has been achieved in various disciplinary areas in order to understand the General principles of the structure, development and interaction of complex systems, regardless of their nature. The exchange of knowledge and achievements between researchers working in various Sciences in this direction is most effective within the framework of stable periodicals. This will allow us to develop a living unified language of interdisciplinary communication.
One of the main goals of the journal is to accumulate research, experimental and theoretical results of studying the structure, development and interaction of complex systems, as well as methods of their modeling, developed in the process of studying physical, chemical, biological, technical, social, and other complex systems. The task is to create databases for generalizations, to put forward new ideas and to popularize them for a wide range of readers.
