The international scientific-theoretical journal The Problems of Oriental Philosophy, issued by the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Philosophy and Law, and the editorial staff of the journal, was established by the decision of the scientific-theoretical conference (Baku, 1992) on the methodological problems of Eastern philosophy. The journal The Problems of Oriental Philosophy is the first international scientific-theoretical journal by this title, content and structure dedicated to philosophy.The idea of creating the journal, its name and concept belong to its editor-in-chief, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Z.Guluzadeh.The Association Elm was one of the founders of the first issues of the publication, and since 1996 it has been released once a year in 2 languages: Azerbaijani and Russian together with the summaries in Arabic, Persian, Turkish, English, German and French. The journal has been widely disseminated in the realm of science of the Republic, and is sent by the Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to the famous libraries of East and West. Problems of Oriental Philosophy is an annual peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. It covers philosophical problems of Eastern philosophy. It is published in Russian and Azerbaijani with abstracts in English, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, French and German. The editor-in-chief is Zumrud Kuluzade. The journal was established in 1996. The journal occasionally publishes special issues.
