The Albanian Journal of Agricultural Sciences (AJAS) is an
International official journal of the Agricultural
University of Tirana, (Universiteti Bujqėsor i Tiranės, UBT)
Albania. AJAS is an open-access, peer reviewed journal, that
considers original articles, reviews and short
communications of high scientific standard in the full
spectrum of biological and agricultural sciences. All users
have right to access freely online all the articles
published by AJAS without any charge. All users shall have
the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print,
search, or link to the full texts of articles. The first
issue was released on 2002. It was published only on printed
version, twice a year in Albanian language, and all the
papers had an English summary. Since 2010, the journal is
published online, in English language, three times a year.
The journal’s scope covers diverse topics and research areas
like:
1. Agricultural and Environmental Science
2. Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science
3. Economics and Agribusiness
4. Forestry
5. Biotechnology and Food Technology
