Perspectives in Medicine is a new open access journal serial for the publication of concise and well-defined medical topics, each delivered as a distinct topical issue, serving as a platform for content that usually falls somewhere in between traditional journal articles and more expansive books or textbooks.
Perspectives in Medicine covers: Proceedings; Reports of research projects or collaborations; Descriptions of defined areas in a field, e.g. a new complex technology, set of new analytical tools for a specific problem set etc.; A set of core concepts for teaching purposes; or A compilation of "this-is-how-we-do-it"-knowledge from large institutions.
