IJDS is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access, and online journal, published as the official journal of the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS). The journal aims to publish papers of high quality and strives to promote scholarly debate across a broad international coverage of the subject with a flexible editorial policy, accepting submissions in any of the areas within the journal scope which covers all aspects of the environmental, economic, social, and cultural sustainability, including land resources, water resources, energy, agriculture, marine resources, ecology, environmental protection, health risks, education, human relations, labor, social policy, corporate responsibility, governance, urban planning, transportation, products and services, economic development, technological development, and international cooperation.
