Description

Powder metallurgy is the process of blending fine powdered materials, pressing them into a desired shape or form and then heating the compressed material in a controlled atmosphere to bond the material. Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth, from an ore body, vein or (coal) seam. The Journal of Powder metallurgy & mining provides an open access platform for advance research and development with wide-ranging aspects of metallic compounds, alloys, blends, composites, fabrication, manufacturing processes, metallurgical extraction, mining and industrial applications.
