Balıkesir University, Bandırma Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Journal of Management and Economics Research (http://bjmer.net/) aims to publish high quality manuscripts. Contributions can be of a theoretical or empirical nature. Articles from the following social science disciplines are accepted in this journal: economics, business administration, public administration, public finance, econometrics, labor economics, law and political science.
In 2003, the journal was firstly published under the name of ‘Akademik Fener’. Since December 2011 it has been published as ‘Journal of Management and Economics Research’ (ISSN: 2148-029X). Published 3 times a year (January, May and September), the journal is a periodical and refereed journal. Special issues are also published in Journal of Management and Economics Research. The DOI number is assigned to all the articles published in the journal.
