Usak University Journal of Material Sciences (UUJMS) is a publication of Usak University. It is published twice a year. The language of UUJMS is English. It is an international refereed journal. UUJMS publishes articles that emphasize the latest researches, developments, and applications within the fields of material sciences, engineering, and technology. It publishes original research articles, reviews, short communications, technical reports and letters to the editor. The submitted manuscript is published after being reviewed by at least two referees. The journal has no page charges. The main objective of UUJMS is to provide an international academic platform for researchers to share scientific results related to all aspects of material sciences.
UUJMS aims at the publication of original research articles, reviews, short communications, technical reports and letter to the editor on the latest developments in the fields of material sciences, engineering and technology.
UUJMS is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to experimental and theoretical research into the synthesis, structure, properties and applications of materials.
The subjects are seen from international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering but not limited to areas including metals, alloys, ceramics, glasses, polymers, novel solid phases, electrical materials, building materials, recycled materials, composite materials, fibers, nanomaterials, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, biological and biomedical materials, opto-electronics, and natural materials.
The scope of topics covered in UUJMS includes:
Design, optimization, development, synthesis, manufacturing, processing, testing, and characterization of the materials
Elucidation of the mechanisms involved in the synthesis and processing of materials
Applications of numerical methods and statistics in material sciences
Simulation and modeling preferably combined with experimentation
Theoretical and practical aspects of the structure and behavior of materials.
Tribology of materials and nanotribology
