Description

As a part of the broader Eurasia perspective which the Research Institute of Turkology at Istanbul University has adopted since its inception, it believes that political, economic, artistic and socio-cultural history of Eurasia should be analyzed systematically in order to understand its present. Defining Eurasia in a broad spectrum extending from Eastern Europe to the Middle East, Caucasus and the Far East, the Research Institute of Turkology aims at stretching the academic power of Istanbul University and Turkey to the region.
Journal of Eurasian Studies aims at filling the vacuum in its own area by focusing on broader Eurasia with an interdisciplinary approach such as philology, history, archeology, culture, geography, politics, economy, and art.
