Description

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) is a professional accountancy body established by the Act of Parliament No. 15 of 1965 to amongst other things, determine the level of knowledge and skills one should possess in order to practice as an Accountant and to raise such standards from time to time.
As part of initiative towards strengthening research in the country and beyond, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria publishes a high quality academic research journal titled: International Journal of Contemporary Accounting Issues (IJCAI) formerly International Journal of Accounting & Finance (IJAF)
Currently IJCAI has been recognized as the best and most quality accounting and finance academic journal in Nigeria. IJCAI follows a review process that ensures that after the articles are subjected to double blind review, it is further reviewed by the editorial board.
The Journal does not charge any administrative or acceptance fee to authors interested in publishing with it. This is because the Institute takes it as one of its public interest mandate and contribution to its members in academia.
