The journal Pouvoirs dans la Caraïbe is published by le Centre de Recherche sur les Pouvoirs Locaux dans la Caraïbe (CRPLC), UMR-CNRS 8053) in both full text and immediate open-access. The journal aims to place knowledge of French societies overseas and of the Caribbean. Pouvoirs dans la Caraïbe is published in three languages (French, English, and Spanish) and intends to report on the infinite variety and complexity of often poorly-known realities from multidisciplinary approaches. The move to the electronic version is intended to, among other things, deal with the challenge of a periodicity of more regular intervals, on the basis of an annual issue.
