Description

The Association of Translators of Romanian Literature was founded in
Paris in December 2006. Its purpose is to promote the dissemination of
Romanian literature in French. Its head office is
located in the Romanian Cultural Institute of Paris. The ATLR held the
first international meetings for translators of Romanian literature
in April 2008. This two-day workshop brought together 17
literary translators from 18 different countries. The Seine & Danube
Review was born in January 2010 as a result of these workshops. Two
issues have been published thus far under the
leadership of its first editor, Nicolas Cavaillès.
