Journal 'Visnyk of the Lviv University. Series Geography' was founded in 1962. It is published 1-2 issues a year.
'Visnyk of the Lviv University. Series Geography' is a peer-review scientific journal. The results of the research on soil science, biogeography, geomorphology, palaeogeography, physical geography, landscape science, constructive geography, cartography, economic and social geography, tourism geography, geo- and socioecology are published in the journal.
The journal publishes articles of Ukrainian and foreign authors in Ukrainian and English, informs about the events of scientific life, and submits reviews of monographs and textbooks on geographical topics.
