FSBEI HE «Kemerovo Institute of Food Science and Technology (University)» has been publishing the scientific technical journal of A 4 format since 1998 with periodicity of four volumes a year.
The mission of the journal « Food Processing: Techniques and Technology » is to publish scientific papers of theoretical and empirical nature of the food industry, bringing together different categories of researchers, university and scientific intelligentsia, to create and maintain a common space of scientific communication, bridging the gap between the publications of regional, federal and international level. The journal aims to cover topical issues in the claimed field to promote promising new technologies for effective management in a broad audience of researchers, teachers, graduate students, entrepreneurs, as well as to assist in the preparation of highly qualified specialists.
Editorial Board is guided by the laws of the Russian Federation, the Charter of the Journal and other documents approved by the Founder and the Editorial of the journal.
All articles are published and distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC BY 4.0).
By the decision of Presidium of the State Supreme Qualifying Committee of Ministry of Education and Science of RF from 12 December, 2016 № 1586, the journal «Food Processing: Techniques and Technology» is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed journals and issues publishing main scientific results of dissertations in seeking for a candidate and doctorate degree.
The journal is included in the Agris System (Agricultural Research Information System) and National informational analytical system – Russian index for scientific citation (РИНЦ). The journal is abstracted in databases FSTA (Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge), ProQuest, CABI, EBSCOhost, AGRICOLA, OCLC WorldCat, BASE and «Ulrich's Periodicals directory».
Editor-in-Chief of the journal - Doctor of technical sciences, professor, Head of the Bionanotechnology Department, a recipient of The RF Government Prize in the domain of science and engineering Prosekov Aleksandr Juryevich.
The articles from the following content areas are published in the journal:
technology for food production;
processes, equipment, and apparatus for food production;
food hygiene;
standardization, certification, quality and safety;
chemistry and ecology;
automation and informational support of technological processes.
The journal is designed for researchers and practical workers, higher school lecturers, post-graduates, students. There is a subscription order for the issue, the subscription index for the unified «Russian Press» catalogue is 41672. One can subscribe for the journal in its editorial office or in any outlet of FSUE «Russian Post» and in more than 60 alternative subscription agencies all over Russia and in a number of the CIS countries.
The Journal is registered in the Federal Service on Supervision in the sphere of communication industry, information technologies and public communications. The certificate of registration is PI № FS 77 - 61609 of 30.04.2015, EL № FS 77 - 61607 of 30.04.2015
