Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (DOCR) is published to serve its readers as a forum for the presentation and discussion of issues pertinent to the advancement of the specialty of dentistry, oral health and the evidence-based knowledge of craniofacial growth and development. Papers of originality and high scientific quality that report the findings of clinical trials, clinical epidemiology, and novel therapeutic or diagnostic approaches are appropriate submissions. Similarly, we welcome papers in anatomy, dental and oral anesthesia, syndromology, surgery, dental emergencies, endodontics, maxillofacial surgery, pathology, radiology, cell biology, molecular biology, embryology, developmental biology, genetics, clinical outcomes research, epidemiology, biomaterials and their applications, speech and hearing, and other biomedical disciplines related to clinical dentistry, oral health and normal and abnormal craniofacial growth and development.
Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (DOCR) encourage the publication of new information by providing a platform for reporting of unique, unusual and rare cases which enhance understanding of disease process, its diagnosis, management and clinico-pathologic correlations and serve its readers as an international forum for the presentation and critical discussion of issues.. The journal is considering all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all aspects of research on Craniofacial & Oral Science. This Open Access journal provides a forum for the prompt publication of research articles of outstanding quality.
The journal is a peer –reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of new knowledge and information on all science relevant to dentistry and to the oral cavity and associated structures in health and disease. Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research primary readership consists of oral, dental and craniofacial researchers, clinical scientists, hard tissue scientists, dentists, dental educators, and oral and dental policy makers.
The journal is published bimonthly. The review of submitted papers will be coordinated by the editor and members of the editorial board. It is policy to review manuscripts within 3 to 4 weeks of receipt and to publish within 2 months of acceptance. The journal aims for very fast publication.
