Description
Space and Culture, India welcomes theoretically informedoriginal research, commentaries and reviews on emerging issues,
development, social change and challenges specific to India as a
whole/Indian states. The key goal of Space and Culture, India is to
‘Share, Learn and Amend’. Therefore, the journal aims to provide a
burly dais for debates, discussion on development issues, social
change, and challenges specific to India. The editorial board seeks
primary research that address the following subject areas- Emerging
issues, development, social change and challenges specific to India
such as: poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, disease, lack of
shelter, environmental degradation, inadequate scientific and
technological resources, trade and payments imbalances, international
debt, gender discrimination, ethnic discrimination, militarism and
civil conflict, corruption and ways to tackle, and lack of popular
participation in economic and political life. The journal thus seeks
to raise voices on behalf of the weaker and marginalised sections of
the society alongside foreground the ground realities in the sphere of
social and sustainable development to the policy-makers with an aim to
bring about need-based modification. It welcomes research scholars and
social scientists from different domains to submit papers that
emphasise research on the aforesaid subject areas.
