The Bulletin of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products is a peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal, primarily aimed at drug developers and manufacturers, control and permission system officers and state regulators of medicinal products circulation, staff members of scientific research institutes, lecturers and students of medical or pharmaceutical universities, doctors and pharmacists. From the very moment of its establishment, the journal has put a lot of emphasis on common mistakes that applicants make when preparing drug registration dossiers. The articles devoted to this problem provide recommendations that help manufactures to use harmonised approaches to the development and investigation of medicines, preparation and formatting of normative documentation, and standardisation of medicinal products. They also help experts to use common principles in reviewing documents and data contained in marketing authorisation applications for medicinal products for human use, submitted for registration in Russia. The journal provides coverage of topical issues concerning quality evaluation of medicines belonging to various product groups, analysis of medicinal products interchangeability, and current trends in pharmacology. It also discusses new sophisticated methods of analysis, as well as rational use of medicines according to the principles of personalised therapy. Particular attention is paid to scientific papers dealing with the development of advanced therapy medicinal products and other innovative medicinal products for human use, as well as to papers on new branches of biomedicine, such as regenerative or translational medicine. Yet another specific feature of the journal is its publications on standardised analytical procedures for evaluation of pharmaceutical substances and medicinal products, which can serve as a scientific basis for elaboration of monographs for the State Pharmacopoeia of the Russian Federation.
