Mediaciones Sociales is the official UCM Journal of Social Sciences
and Communication. Its primary aim is to serve the growing
international community of teachers and university researchers and
renowned professionals working in the field of social mediation to
enable them to pool the results of their research, discuss new
theoretical challenges, methodological innovations, and
professional practices that have been opened by the enormous changes
continuously generated by globalization of monopoly capitalism in all
areas of social life as well as in public institutions,
media, organizations, families and individuals to adjust their
worldviews and behavioral patterns corresponding to or affected by
these social changes.
