Description

Naveg-AT-mérica is a scientific review of the Spanish Latin American Studies Association (Asociación Española de Americanistas, AEA), edited with a technical support of the Editing Services of the University of Murcia. AEA is a non-lucrative organization founded in 1982 that brings together researchers in order to increase a scientific and cultural work in the field of Latin American Studies in different areas of Social Sciences and Humanities. Our willing to improve a field of Latin American Studies made us create and offer to the members of our Association and the rest of the scientific community, national and international, a useful tool for the development and dissemination of their works. We decided to give it an exclusive form of virtual review, the first in Spain of that characteristics, that remains open to the material written, apart of Spanish, also in other languages in use within the American Continent, such as English, Italian, French and Portuguese.
Naveg-AT-mérica is being guided by standards set by an edition committee consisting of the members of the Association. The works you send to our address will be evaluated by specialists in Social Sciences, accredited by their long- term commitment with the thinking and the production of knowledge, who conform the assessor committee. The principal aim is to set up disciplinary and interdisciplinary debates, to edit results of firsthand primary source researching, and also to disseminate the results of Historiography Studies. Consequently, Naveg-AT-mérica consists of for sections:
1- ARTICLES, original and unedited works in the field of Latin American Studies
2- RESEARCHERS' EXPERIENCES, works of authors consolidating their researching trajectory, being this an ideal place for the dissemination of their results.
3- LATIN AMERICAN DOCUMENTARY, about the sources, methods and tools used in the researching process.
4- BIBLIGRAPHIC REVIEWS and critic commentaries on recent edited works.
